You have no internet connection what so ever? My expirience on it (with Ubuntu 9.10) had both ethernet and wireless working flawlessly out of the box.

my siemens fujitsu laptop v5535, I installed linux kubunto on it 9.10, after installation ofcource I must update the ubunto, and that needs internet connection , that wasn’t vailable because the ethernet driver wasn’t installed, so i need these drivers software to connect to the internet and also adjust my screen appearance, because of this I still use windows, and I want to stop using this windows OS, Please if any one can help please let him do.
